Marketing emails
We'd like to email you about new sites, availability and offers. We'll only do this if you tick the box on our forms, or if you're an existing customer or have enquired with us and didn't opt out. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing enquiries@land-co.co.uk. Unsubscribing doesn't affect emails we need to send you about an existing enquiry or licence.
We never sell your details or pass them to other companies for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We only share your information when we need to, with:
- companies that provide services to us, such as website hosting, email, payment processing and accounting software, who may only use it on our instructions;
- professional advisers such as solicitors, accountants and surveyors, where needed for a lease, sale or valuation;
- the police, local authorities or other bodies where the law requires it, or to prevent or detect crime.
Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure suitable safeguards are in place, such as UK-approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to a licence: up to 2 years from our last contact.
- Customer records: 6 years after your licence or lease ends, to meet tax and legal requirements.
- CCTV footage: usually 30 days, unless needed to investigate an incident.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it to you or someone else. You can object to how we use it, and you can withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We'll reply within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
